Finishing the top of the Thimbleberries 3's Company quilt, the 2009 Block of the Month, is one of my summer vacation goals. Casper thought he needed some more attention than the quilt and decided this would be a succesful way to get what he wants.
The centre part of the top was already finished last year. I 'only' had to add a lot of borders: a light one around the centre, a dark one, another light one and than a pieced border. And at the end a large one with a floral print. At the moment just the pieced borders on the left side and the floral one are left to do.
Yesterday the postman brought the month 7 package of the Civil War Chronicles quilt with more beautiful fabrics.
This is one of the CWC month 6 blocks. I have to make four of them; two are finished already.
Thanks for visiting and for all your lovely comments.

Casper looks like he is saying: do NOT touch these fabrics. They are MINE!

Still loving civil war chronicles.
Casper is wel precies op een goede plek gaan liggen, heerlijk zo tussen al die lapjes.
Het wordt wel een heel mooi geheel.
Groetjes Yvon.
