The outer border made of two rows of 2 centimeter square scraps isn't finished yet. I am going to use blanket stitch applique to fasten the sheep and the trees. The sheep are made of felt, leftovers from the Snowbound snowpeople.
The whole thing is very purple now! I wonder what the effect of the outer border will be.
It really is a lot of fun to use completely different colours than the ones I mostly use in my quilts ;o)
