Another dragonfly

Thank you for all the lovely comments on Frosty Knotgarden and DD's photo and the explanation about the damselflies and dragonflies. This is the broad-bodied chaser dragonfly Wikipedia says. There is another type with outspread wings and a longer body which also visits our garden. DD will try to catch that one on a photo too to complete the series.

I am stitching block 4 of Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow at the moment. The house is almost finished, but the reindeer, the peacocks and the stars still have to be done.

Your daughter has a good eye for color and composition.
I think this photo could be adapted into a lovely companion piece for the flower fairy garden, don't you?
